Finally either happy with this painting or just sick of painting it.  Can't choose.

Nothing finished quite yet.  Nothing ever really is.  But these need lots of work.  I plan on taking a picture everytime I work on the church Image so I can really see the progression as time goes by.  I will post them.  Here is what I have so far. 

Almost done with this one.  It was one of the more challenging paintings that I have been working on.  I am very happy the way these new paintings are turning out and hope to be able to show them to people.  Wish me luck.

I got engaged :-) all in all, best holiday ever.  I took the pictures below to kind of give you an idea of how the creative process for putting my paintings together works.  These are done on birchwood and certain aspects of the painting are cut out and placed on a background piece.  It is difficult to notice the layers and texture in the final image so I figured I would take these pictures. 

My new online store has renewed my creative motivation.  I am going to start cranking out prints like never before.  Here is one I finished up this weekend.  It is in BallPoint Pen with highlights of Gesso. Head over to the SHOP for more info.

decided to take out an old painting I started and get cracking on it.  Think it could turn out pretty interesting.
