The Art of Brian Punger

My new online store has renewed my creative motivation.  I am going to start cranking out prints like never before.  Here is one I finished up this weekend.  It is in BallPoint Pen with highlights of Gesso. Head over to the SHOP for more info.

decided to take out an old painting I started and get cracking on it.  Think it could turn out pretty interesting.

Would love to get some feedback on the site and what I could do to make it better.  Any help welcome.  Thanks.  - Brian

So I went to see David Bazan at Bowery Ballroom with Emily (my gf), and Melanie (my sister), and all I have to say is wow what a show.  We sat in traffic for 1hr and 1/2 and almost peed my pants but managed to get there early and snatch the best seats on the balcony above the stage.  Not entirely off the topic of art, but definitely off the subject of my art.  Maybe I'll do some paintings of him.  Pictures from the show below. 

I have been working on these for a while now, leaving them and coming back to them because I am fed up looking at them unfinished.  The self portrait is almost done, just need to fix the floor and cut out the rest of my hand.  Central Park is close to being done as well. 
          I changed the look of the site alittle bit, feedback is welcome and appreciated. 

So I heard this poem recently and absolutely love it, it is from Luc Sante's the unknown soldier.

"So give my eyes to the eye bank, give my blood to the blood bank. Make my hair into switches, put my teeth into rattles, sell my heart to the junkman. Give my spleen to the mayor. Hook my lungs to an engine. Stretch my guts down the avenue. Stick my head on a pike, plug my spine to the third rail, throw my liver and lights to the winner. Grind my nails up with sage and camphor and sell it under the counter. Set my hands in the window as a reminder. Take my name from me and make it a verb. Think of me when you run out of money. Okay so its been a while.  Havent been painting to much but I had the past week off and was able to get some painting in.  Also went on a few local trips and finally got some inspiration for some other paintings that I will start on eventually.  I would love to have a show sometime in next century.
